Piston and Piston Ring
AEC uses high strength ductile iron for its top ring / compression ring for precise cylinder sealing and optimum durability. The inherent properties of our material allow these rings to maintain sealing integrity at extreme pressures.

Good piston does not only determine its strength and wear characteristics, but also its thermal expansion characteristics. AEC piston made of special alloy increases heat strength and reduces coefficient of expansion so that high tolerances can be held as the temperature changes.

AEC designs its piston ring along with the piston to effectively permit lubrication of the rings, pistons and the inner walls without migrating into the combustion chamber.

Valve
Intakes and exhaust valves work under different temperatures and pressure. The exhaust valves are generally subjected to highly corrosive gases at temperatures exceeding 1400 degrees Fahrenheit. In comparison, intake valves are cooled by the incoming air and hence the exhaust valves in the AEC range features high quality alloy which offer greater resistance to higher temperature, pressure and corrosion.

Engine Bearing
AEC bearings are manufactured with tight tolerance ensuring consistency of bearing to journal clearances. High melting point for AEC bearings ensures added protection against localized overheating caused by overloading, denotation, misalignment and lack of coolant.

Cyliner Liner
AEC cylinder liners that are made of high grade heat treated cast iron ensure high hardness level and long usage.

Liners within the AEC range, which are phosphate coated, possess exceptional resistance against corrosive properties of the coolant, maintaining the functionality of the engine. The inner Plateau Cross Hatch Design ensures high tensile strength, reduces initial wear, grain emission and shorter run in time.

Stringent manufacturing tolerances allow perfectly around bores for efficient oil control and proper fit into engine blocks.

Cyliner Head
AEC cylinder heads are designed and constructed with heat dissipation as top priority.

The inherent properties of the alloy which AEC cylinder heads are manufactured from, combined with the enhanced heat dissipation design, work jointly to optimize performance and prolong the life of your engine.

Crankshaft
AEC crankshaft that are forged or machined out of a single billet of forged steel ensure reliability for high performance engine.

The rough forging crankshaft is machined to size and shape using high precision machinery. Stringent manufacturing tolerances allow perfect matching of main and connecting rod bearing journals.

AEC / US GASKET
As part of the business collaboration effort, US GASKET and AEC have jointly developed high performance series seal and gaskets components to meet its customer’s requirement. AEC and USG Gasket maintains a larger inventory of gasket sealing products such as head gaskets, front and rear cover gaskets, crankshaft seals, oil seals and many others sealing products required for engine rebuild. All components have undergone stringent quality selection process to satisfy its customers’ needs.
